You can even hear the rush of people and traffic throughout the song, so this intensifies the emotions. The shots that are used are abundant shots, though there was no real establishing shot the viewer, however, would still be able to discern that the movie starts out in an incredibly busy city. The use of wide shots also increases the feeling of being rushed, since more people are being fit onto the screen in one shot, it gives the feeling of being cramped and hurried. This scene sets up the rest of the film, preparing the viewers for a movie that will be as fast paced as the opening.4.
